Working with Ocean Data in the Cloud
Marine Spatial Planning Edition
Online Course Offered by UFSC · HUB Ocean · SeaSketch
South America's coastal and marine territories are among the most bio-diverse in the world. As countries across the region advance their marine spatial planning agendas, the need for skilled practitioners who can access, manage, and use ocean data is more urgent than ever.
This online training course gives you the tools and hands-on practice to work with spatial ocean data in the context of real ocean governance challenges.

What Others Had to Say
This course builds on a training program HUB Ocean previously delivered in the Western Indian Ocean region. Here's what participants had to say:
“I know I can get support whenever I need it, and I am truly excited to stay connected with the ODP team. I encourage my friends, institution, and research team to use ODP in their daily work. Ultimately, I believe I can achieve both my own ambitions and the ambitions of ODP through my commitment and effort”
“The group work component was highly valuable because it encouraged collaboration across different backgrounds and strengthened the practical application of cloud-based geospatial workflows.”
Former StudentFormer Student“The group work experience was very valuable for applying the concepts learned during the course, especially in relation to GIS, Python, and ocean data analysis.”
Former StudentJoin the next cohort and start working with ocean data where it already lives—in the cloud.
Apply practical MSP workflows using real ocean datasets from day one.
