Recording

This webinar was hosted by HUB Ocean in collaboration with the Nairobi Convention and the Western Indian Ocean Marine Science Association It was recorded on 5 December.

ABOUT the Webinar

Join us for the first session in HUB Ocean’s “Getting Started on the Ocean Data Platform” webinar series - designed to help the marine science community to advance how they collaborate on ocean data in the cloud. In this introduction session we will introduce the Ocean Data Platform and show how it can support end-to-end geospatial ocean data workflows, from data discovery to insights for use-cases such as Marine Spatial Planning.

ABOUT the Ocean Data Platform

The Ocean Data Platform (ODP) is an open geospatial cloud native ecosystem designed to transform how ocean data is accessed, shared, and used. Built on FAIR principles, ODP help connect data and people by bringing together public, private, and community datasets in one secure, geospatial catalog. It also offers a powerful workspace for analysis and collaboration providing an equal playing field for ocean practitioners. ODP is developed by non-profit HUB Ocean and is the main vehicle which we use to connect science, industry and governance with our mission to protect and restore the ocean.
